Operation and Accessibility

The PAL2 is intended to transfer a seated user from the pool deck into the water and return the user safely to the deck. The waterproof handset allows independent operation when the user is able to control the lift without assistance.

The lift should only be positioned on a rigid, level pool deck with a slope not exceeding two degrees. Both rear wheels must be locked before transferring a user. The PAL2 must never be moved while someone is seated in the lift.

Final ADA compliance depends on the pool geometry, installation location, clear deck space, water depth, seat position, and correct installation of the included Secure-It Kit. Facility owners remain responsible for confirming that the completed installation meets all applicable accessibility requirements.
