Balancing Pool Water

Keep free chlorine, pH (7.4 to 7.6), total alkalinity, calcium hardness and stabilizer (CYA) in range. Balanced water feels better, keeps chlorine working, and protects plaster, heaters and salt cells. Las Vegas water is hard and the sun is intense, so expect high calcium and fast chlorine loss. Test often with a test kit.
