Modern LED pool lighting is available in white and color-changing configurations with multiple cord lengths, voltages, fixture sizes, and control options. The correct replacement depends on the existing niche, fixture type, voltage, transformer, cord length, automation system, and manufacturer compatibility.

Replacing an Existing Pool Light

Before ordering, identify the existing light model, voltage, cord length, niche type, transformer, and control method. A fixture that physically fits a niche may still require a different voltage, transformer, or controller.

Lighting Upgrades

Pool owners upgrading older incandescent or first-generation LED fixtures should also review transformer capacity, automation compatibility, synchronization requirements, and whether all lights on the system need to use the same control technology.
