The Pentair UltraTemp ETi® Hybrid Heater 220K combines the fast heating performance of a high-efficiency gas heater with the long-term energy savings of a premium heat pump. As the first hybrid pool heater of its kind in the U.S., it intelligently selects the most efficient heating method—or uses both simultaneously—to provide rapid heat-up times and lower operating costs.

The natural gas model 460969 delivers a combined heating capacity of 220,000 BTU, pairing a 110,000 BTU high-efficiency gas heater with a 108,000 BTU heat pump. Four selectable operating modes allow the heater to automatically optimize performance based on pool temperature and heating demand. The TitanTough™ Direct-Fire Titanium Heat Exchanger, 93% thermal efficiency gas burner, and heat pump technology make it an excellent choice for extending the swimming season while reducing energy consumption.

Warranty Information

Pentair manufacturer warranty coverage is subject to current warranty terms, product registration, professional installation, and TradeGrade requirements.

Proof of purchase and proof of professional installation may be required for warranty service. Damage caused by improper installation, freezing, poor water chemistry, inadequate water flow, incorrect gas pressure, misuse, or unauthorized modifications is not covered.

Pentair TradeGrade products purchased online outside Pentair's authorized sales program may receive reduced warranty coverage. Customers should verify applicable warranty coverage before purchasing.

Freight Delivery Notice

This product ships by freight. Inspect the heater and packaging before signing the delivery receipt. Note any visible damage on the carrier's paperwork and photograph the shipment immediately.

Do not sign for a visibly damaged shipment as being received in good condition.
