The BN35V1 operates on either 115V or 230V single-phase electrical service and must be configured for the available supply voltage during installation. Its 3450 RPM operating speed provides the performance required by compatible pump impellers used for routine filtration, water circulation, and spa operation.
A threaded stainless-steel shaft connects the motor to the pump impeller, while permanently lubricated ball bearings support smooth operation. Automatic thermal-overload protection helps protect the motor by interrupting operation when excessive internal temperature is detected.

Compatibility
The BN35V1 is commonly used on compatible above-ground pool, spa, and jetted-tub pumps requiring a 1.5 HP, 48Y-frame, threaded-shaft motor.
Motor horsepower alone does not confirm compatibility. Compare the existing motor’s frame, voltage, phase, speed, service factor, total horsepower, shaft style, rotation, mounting pattern, and amperage before ordering.
The replacement motor must also match the pump’s impeller and diffuser. Installing an incorrectly rated motor can cause overloading, reduced performance, overheating, or premature equipment failure.
Installation Information
Installation should be completed by a qualified pool technician or electrician. Disconnect electrical power and confirm the circuit is de-energized before servicing the pump.
Configure the motor for the correct supply voltage according to its wiring diagram. Replace the mechanical shaft seal whenever the motor is removed from the wet end. Inspect the impeller, diffuser, O-rings, seal plate, and pump housing before reassembly.
Prime the pump completely before startup. Never operate the motor with the pump dry.
