The Hayward AquaRite Control Unit | GLX-CTL-RITE is a genuine OEM replacement control box for compatible Hayward and Goldline AquaRite salt chlorine generator systems. It replaces the main power center and user-control assembly when the existing AquaRite enclosure, electronics, display, transformer, or internal control components have failed.

The GLX-CTL-RITE manages power to the compatible Hayward TurboCell, monitors salt-system operation, displays diagnostic information, and allows the user to adjust chlorine output from the front control panel.

This listing is for the AquaRite control unit only. The TurboCell salt cell is sold separately.

Installation Information

The AquaRite control unit requires hardwired electrical installation and should be installed by a qualified pool professional or electrician.

For standalone operation, the AquaRite must be wired so that it receives power only when the filtration pump is operating. Hayward provides configurations for both 120VAC and 240VAC installations.

The enclosure should be installed vertically on a flat surface with adequate ventilation around the control box and at the required distance from the swimming pool or spa.

Automation Compatibility

AquaRite can communicate with supported external pool automation systems using a four-wire communication connection.

Compatible applications may include certain:

• Hayward / Goldline automation systems
• Pentair automation systems
• Polaris automation systems
