Compatibility

The Pentair 461063 kit is intended for compatible natural-gas versions of the MasterTemp 125 pool and spa heater. Confirm the complete heater model, fuel designation, serial number, manufacturing date, gas-valve configuration, and burner-system design before ordering.

This kit does not convert a propane heater back to natural gas. It should not be used with MasterTemp 175, 200, 250, 300, 400, Max-E-Therm, ETi, MiniMax, or other heater models.

Installation Requirements

Installation must be performed by authorized personnel qualified in pool-heater and gas-appliance service. The technician must shut off electrical power and gas, install the required conversion components, inspect the gas train, and verify that the heater is properly identified for propane operation.

After conversion, the installer must confirm propane supply pressure, manifold pressure, leak-free gas connections, ignition performance, combustion quality, ventilation, and safe exhaust operation. Local fuel-gas codes, electrical codes, Pentair instructions, and propane-supplier requirements must be followed.

Never operate the heater on propane before the conversion is fully completed and tested. Never modify, drill, or substitute fuel components.
