Product Overview
Restore reliable heat transfer and correct water flow in a compatible Raypak pool or spa heater with the Raypak 006711F Tube Bundle Kit. This genuine Raypak replacement assembly is designed for select 405, R405A, and R405B heaters equipped with polymer, also known as Capron, front and rear headers.
The tube bundle is the main heat-transfer component inside the heater. Pool water circulates through the tubes while hot combustion gases pass across the outside surfaces. Heat moves through the tube walls and into the circulating water before returning to the pool or spa.
Over time, scale buildup, corrosion, freezing, improper water chemistry, restricted flow, or overheating can damage the original tube bundle. Common symptoms include water leaking inside the heater, reduced heating performance, unusual boiling or knocking sounds, and visible mineral deposits.
Replacing the damaged assembly can restore dependable heater operation without requiring replacement of the complete heater. Professional diagnosis is recommended because header leaks, damaged O-rings, bypass problems, and plumbing issues can produce similar symptoms.

Compatibility
The 006711F is designed for compatible Raypak 405, R405A, and R405B Digital or Millivolt pool and spa heaters using polymer headers. It should not be assumed compatible with metal-header, ASME, Low NOx, cupro-nickel, or other heat-exchanger configurations.
Verify the complete heater model number, serial number, manufacturing date, header material, and existing tube-bundle configuration before ordering.
Installation Information
Turn off electrical power and the gas supply, stop the circulation pump, allow the heater to cool, and relieve all water pressure before service. Drain the heat exchanger before removing the headers or existing tube bundle.
Installation requires substantial heater disassembly and should be completed by a qualified pool-heater technician. The technician should inspect the polymer headers, bypass assembly, refractory, burner tray, plumbing, and combustion chamber while the heater is open.
Install the supplied O-rings and hardware according to Raypak procedures. After assembly, circulate water and inspect for leaks before firing the heater. Confirm correct water flow, gas pressure, combustion, and exhaust operation before returning the system to service.
