Jandy’s published product specifications identify the IWCS25W100 as a 25-watt, 14VAC niched spa light with a stainless-steel face ring and 100-foot cord.
Required Controller
The IWCS25W100 must be powered and operated by the Jandy Infinite WaterColors LED Light Controller, model IWCLC300W. The light will not operate correctly from a standard pool-light transformer or alternate power source. The required controller provides the proper 14VAC power and communication needed for Infinite WaterColors operation.
The controller is sold separately unless the light is purchased as part of a qualifying starter kit.
Automation and Control
When connected to compatible Jandy AquaLink RS automation, users can create custom colors, adjust brightness, schedule operation, select light shows, and assign different colors to individual pool or spa zones. Compatible configurations may also support control through the iAquaLink application.
Automation compatibility and required software revisions must be confirmed before installation.
Installation Information
This is a niched spa light and requires a compatible underwater wet niche. Confirm the existing niche manufacturer, model, dimensions, mounting position, bonding requirements, and conduit configuration before ordering.
Installation must be completed by a qualified pool professional or licensed electrician. Proper GFCI protection, grounding, bonding, controller selection, junction-box placement, and local electrical-code compliance are required.
Do not cut or splice the factory-installed underwater cord. The light must remain submerged during operation and should not be operated outside the water for more than a few seconds.
