Salt Chlorine Systems

Salt Chlorine Generators & Replacement Cells

Salt systems generate chlorine from dissolved salt in the pool water, providing an automated sanitation option for compatible residential and commercial pools. Complete systems and replacement cells must be correctly sized for pool volume and matched to the proper control equipment.

Replacing a Salt Cell

Do not select a replacement cell based only on physical appearance. Confirm the manufacturer, cell model, controller or power center, pool volume, connector style, and generation capacity. Some newer cells or controllers are not direct replacements for older systems.

Saltwater Pool Upgrades

If you are converting an existing pool to salt or upgrading an older salt system, consider pool volume, automation compatibility, available plumbing space, electrical requirements, and the target chlorine-production capacity.
