The H995 operates on 208–230V or 460V three-phase electrical service and must be wired for the available supply voltage during installation. Its single-speed design provides approximately 3450 RPM under normal operating load, supporting the water flow and pressure required by compatible filtration and circulation systems.
A threaded stainless-steel shaft connects the motor directly to the pump impeller. Sealed ball bearings support smooth, continuous-duty operation, while the open drip-proof enclosure allows ventilation around the motor windings. This motor does not include built-in thermal-overload protection, so properly sized external motor protection is required.

Compatibility
The H995 is commonly used as a replacement motor for select Pentair and Pac-Fab commercial pump configurations, including applications associated with motor reference 35-5704.
Horsepower alone does not confirm compatibility. Compare the existing motor’s frame, flange, voltage, phase, service factor, amperage, shaft dimensions, rotation, and total horsepower before ordering. The impeller and diffuser must also be matched to a 5 HP motor load.
Installation Information
Installation must be completed by a qualified electrician or commercial pool technician. Disconnect and lock out electrical power before servicing the pump.
Configure the motor leads for the correct supply voltage and use an approved three-phase motor starter with properly sized overload protection. Confirm phase rotation after wiring. If the pump rotates backward, correct the phase sequence before operation.
Replace the mechanical shaft seal whenever the motor is removed from the wet end. Inspect the impeller, diffuser, seal plate, O-rings, and pump housing before reassembly. Prime the pump completely before startup and never operate it dry.
