Compatibility
Suitable for properly designed in-ground pool and spa systems. Confirm pool size, climate, desired temperature, electrical capacity, plumbing, and available installation space. Required water flow is 30–75 GPM; this model’s recommended flow is 60 GPM. Compatible Hayward Omni automation can provide remote control, but additional equipment and configuration are required.
Heat pump output varies with air temperature, humidity, and water temperature. Select equipment based on calculated heating and cooling demand, not pool gallons alone.
Installation
Professional installation is required. Provide an outdoor location with adequate airflow, service access, drainage, and manufacturer-specified clearances. Your installer must verify electrical requirements against the equipment nameplate and applicable codes. Existing heater plumbing and wiring should not be assumed compatible.
What’s Included
Includes the complete heat pump and two detachable water union connectors with nuts and gaskets. Additional plumbing, electrical supplies, and automation equipment are not included. Eight anchor clamps are also supplied; concrete screws and fender washers must be sourced separately when anchoring is required.
