Saltwater Pool Applications

The standard ART-1001 uses 304 stainless steel.

For a pool equipped with a salt chlorine generator, S.R. Smith specifies 316L Marine Grade stainless steel as the minimum requirement. The Marine Grade rail is identified with an -MG suffix and should be selected instead of the standard ART-1001 when required for a saltwater environment.
