The J&J Electronics ColorSplash® XG-W LED Pool Light 23003 is a complete underwater RGBW fixture designed to provide vivid color-changing illumination and bright dedicated white light for compatible in-ground swimming pools. This model operates on 120 volts, includes a 150-foot factory-installed cord, and produces approximately 3,900 lumens of light while consuming about 59 watts.

The ColorSplash XG-W combines red, green, blue, and dedicated white LEDs in one sealed fixture. This allows the light to create rich solid colors, programmed lighting effects, and a cleaner white-light mode than standard RGB-only fixtures.

Wide-angle, high-output LEDs distribute illumination across a larger section of the pool, helping reduce dark areas and uneven coverage. The polished stainless-steel trim ring provides a durable, professional appearance around the pool niche.

This is a complete sealed underwater fixture, not a replacement bulb or retrofit lamp. A compatible full-size wet niche is required and is sold separately. Hayward currently lists part 23003 at 59 watts, although some distributor descriptions may round or identify it as 58 watts.

The 150-foot cord provides added flexibility for installations where the approved junction box is located farther from the pool. Because the cord is sealed to the fixture at the factory, it must remain continuous and should never be spliced underwater or inside the conduit.

Installation Information

Disconnect all electrical power before installing or servicing the pool light. Confirm that the existing lighting circuit operates on 120 volts and that the wet niche, conduit, junction box, grounding, bonding, and circuit protection comply with applicable electrical codes.

Route the complete factory-installed cord continuously through the niche conduit to an approved junction box. Do not cut, shorten, splice, or modify the cord underwater or inside the conduit.

Leave sufficient cord behind the fixture so the light can be raised to the pool deck for future service. Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician or qualified pool professional.

Warranty coverage does not include incorrect voltage, incompatible niches, cord modification, improper installation, chemical damage, physical damage, dry operation, or water intrusion caused by installation or servicing errors.
