Product Overview

The Pentair 340605 EQKT750 EQ Series Commercial Pump is a high-performance 7.5 HP pump designed for demanding commercial swimming pools, aquatic facilities, and high-flow water circulation applications. This model features a three-phase Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled (TEFC) motor operating on 208-230/460V and includes the EQ Series hair and lint strainer.

The EQ Series combines efficient hydraulic performance with commercial-grade, non-corrosive plastic construction. Its TEFC motor provides additional protection from moisture, dirt, and airborne contaminants, making the 340605 well suited for demanding commercial equipment environments.

Specifications

Installation Information

The Pentair 340605 requires a properly configured 208-230/460V three-phase electrical supply, appropriately sized commercial plumbing, grounding, bonding, and external thermal overload protection.

Three-phase motor rotation must be verified after electrical connection. Incorrect rotation can reduce hydraulic performance and potentially damage equipment.

The pump should be installed in a properly ventilated equipment area with adequate clearance for motor and wet-end servicing. Installation should be completed by a qualified commercial pool professional and licensed electrician where required.
