Product Description

Restore a proper seal to your pump lid with the Pentair 356189Z Strainer Cover O-Ring, designed for compatible IntelliFlo3 and IntelliPro3 VSF pool pumps. This genuine replacement O-ring sits between the strainer lid and pump housing, helping maintain suction integrity and proper pump operation.

A worn, flattened, or cracked O-ring can allow air to enter the system or cause water seepage around the lid. Replacing it helps maintain prime, supports consistent flow, and keeps your pump operating efficiently.

This listing includes one replacement O-ring only. The strainer lid, pump, and other components are not included.

Installation and Care

1. Turn off power at the breaker and stop the pump
2. Relieve system pressure before opening the lid
3. Remove the strainer cover
4. Take out the old O-ring and clean the sealing groove
5. Inspect the lid and sealing surface for debris or damage
6. Install the new O-ring evenly without twisting or pinching
7. Reinstall the lid securely before restarting the pump

For best results, keep the sealing surfaces clean and inspect the O-ring regularly during routine maintenance. Pentair recommends proper shutdown and pressure relief before servicing pump components.
