Benefits

The Pentair 263042 check valve helps protect pool equipment by allowing water to flow in one direction while blocking reverse flow. This is especially important near heaters, chlorinators, salt systems, solar lines, and elevated plumbing where backflow can cause equipment damage, drainage, or water chemistry issues.

Its CPVC body is built to handle demanding pool equipment pad conditions, while the PTFE-coated seal provides dependable shutoff without regular lubrication. The straight-through design supports strong hydraulic performance and makes it a reliable choice for 2" pool plumbing systems.

Warranty & Compatibility

Professional installation is recommended for proper plumbing alignment, solvent welding, and leak prevention. Before ordering, confirm plumbing size, valve orientation, equipment layout, CPVC/PVC compatibility, and whether the installation requires a straight check valve or a different valve configuration.

This valve must be installed in the correct flow direction and allowed to cure according to the solvent cement manufacturer’s instructions before system startup.
