Product Overview

The Pentair 263026 is a high-performance 3-way diverter valve constructed of CPVC and designed for pool and spa plumbing systems. It supports a 2″ inside diameter connection or 2½″ outside slip sizing, making it suitable for many plumbing configurations. Engineered for reliable diversion, shut-off or mixing applications, it features a maintenance-free PTFE-coated diverter seal and reinforced handle for long service life.

Ideal For

• Pool service professionals needing an OEM diverter valve to control flow between multiple plumbing paths (e.g., heater bypass, water feature redirect, spa/pool isolation).

• Installations where plumbing is 2″ (or compatible with 2½″ slip) and a robust CPVC valve is required for chemical-resistant and high-temperature applications.

• Systems where durable, maintenance-free flow control is crucial and where actuator compatibility may be required.

• Retrofit or new installs that demand a premium diverter valve with flexible plumbing sizing and high reliability.

Key Features

• CPVC Construction – chemical- and heat-resistant body designed for pool and spa environments.

• Dual-Size Plumbing Acceptance – accepts 2″ diameter plumbing internally or 2½″ outside slip, aiding retrofit versatility.

• Maintenance-Free PTFE-Coated Seal – ensures a positive seal without lubrication, reducing service needs.

• High Flow, Low Head Loss Design – optimized for efficient flow and reduced pressure drop.

• Fiberglass-Reinforced Handle & Field-Adjustable Stops – durable operation and custom stop positioning for flow control applications.

• Rated for up to 150 psi – suitable for demanding plumbing systems requiring high pressure tolerance.

Customer-Facing Q&A

Q: Will this valve fit my 2″ plumbing?
A: Yes — the model 263026 is designed for 2″ plumbing and also accommodates 2½″ outside diameter (slip) plumbing for greater flexibility.

Q: What applications is this diverter valve used for?
A: It is commonly used for diverting flow (such as between pool and spa), mixing flow paths, or isolating sections of plumbing in pool and spa systems.

Q: Do I need to lubricate this valve seal?
A: No — the diverter seal is PTFE-coated and maintenance-free, so no lubrication is required.

Q: Is the valve compatible with automation or actuators?
A: Yes — the valve is designed to work with most standard pool-valve actuators, making it suitable for automated flow-control applications.

Q: What maintenance is required?
A: Minimal. Inspect annually for seal integrity and handle operation. Ensure plumbing is clean and free of debris to maintain flow efficiency.
