Product Overview

The Pentair IntelliChlor Salt Chlorine Generator Power Center | 520556 is the power supply and communication hub required for Pentair IntelliChlor salt chlorine generator systems. Designed for residential in-ground pool applications, this power center converts incoming AC power into the low-voltage DC power needed by the IntelliChlor salt cell to generate chlorine automatically.

This unit is ideal for replacing a failed or damaged IntelliChlor power center or for building a complete IntelliChlor salt system when paired with a compatible Pentair salt cell. The power center contains the transformer, fuse, and cell connection required to operate the IntelliChlor system. It can be wired for 110V or 220/230V AC applications and is designed to work with Pentair automation systems when properly installed.

Benefits

Reliable Power for Your IntelliChlor System

The 520556 Power Center provides the electrical power required for the IntelliChlor salt cell to operate and produce chlorine for your pool or spa.

Helps Automate Pool Sanitization

When paired with a compatible IntelliChlor cell, the system helps produce chlorine automatically from dissolved pool salt, reducing the need to manually add traditional chlorine products.

Works with Pentair Automation

The power center can connect with select Pentair automation systems, allowing the IntelliChlor system to integrate with pool control equipment when installed properly.

Clean, Purpose-Built Replacement

If your existing IntelliChlor power center has failed, this unit is the correct replacement component for restoring power to a compatible IntelliChlor salt system.

What’s Included

• Pentair IntelliChlor Power Center enclosure
• Internal transformer
• Fuse
• IntelliChlor cell connector plug
• Installation guide/manual

Salt cell is not included.

Installation Notes

Professional installation is strongly recommended. The power center must be wired to the pool pump power source so the IntelliChlor cell only operates when the pump is running. Proper bonding, grounding, and mounting requirements should always be followed.
