Benefits

The Pentair 355026S motor helps restore pump operation without replacing the full pump assembly. If the pump housing, impeller, diffuser, seal plate, and plumbing are still in good condition, replacing the motor can be a cost-effective way to bring the system back online.

Its 2 HP, 208-230V, 56Y square flange design makes it suitable for specific Pentair pump configurations. Matching the replacement motor correctly is important because horsepower, voltage, service factor, frame type, and impeller size must all be compatible.

For pool professionals, the 355026S is a reliable OEM motor option for compatible Pentair pump service jobs.

Always confirm the existing pump model, motor label, horsepower, service factor, voltage, frame, impeller size, seal plate style, and wiring requirements before ordering. Motor appearance alone is not enough to confirm fitment.

Installation Notes

This motor should be installed by a qualified pool professional or licensed electrician. Turn off all power at the breaker before servicing the pump.

When replacing a pump motor, inspect the shaft seal, seal plate, diffuser, impeller, gaskets, O-rings, wiring, conduit, and bonding connection. It is strongly recommended to replace the shaft seal any time the motor is replaced to help prevent leaks into the new motor.

After installation, verify correct voltage, bonding, grounding, motor rotation, pump priming, pressure, flow, and leak-free operation. Incorrect voltage, improper wiring, or mismatched impeller sizing can damage the motor.
