Unlike traditional pump-driven swim jets that require extensive suction and return plumbing, the BADU Jet Turbo uses a direct-in-wall, propeller-driven design. Water is drawn directly from the pool through the large front cover and returned as a strong, controlled current. This design eliminates the need for long, high-flow plumbing runs and helps create a cleaner, less turbulent swimming lane.

A quiet permanent-magnet motor and variable-frequency drive allow the swimmer to adjust the current for different ability levels. The system can accommodate relaxed recreational swimming, rehabilitation exercises, or more demanding resistance workouts without requiring a full-length lap pool.

Installation Requirements

The BADU Jet Turbo is intended for installation directly into the pool wall. It is best planned during new pool construction or a properly engineered renovation because the housing requires precise placement, structural preparation, electrical service, and rear equipment access.

Although the direct-in-wall design eliminates conventional high-flow swim-jet plumbing, professional construction and electrical work are still required. Installation must comply with the Speck planning guide, manufacturer instructions, applicable building codes, and local electrical requirements.

The system must not be operated dry. The anti-entrapment cover must remain securely installed and should be inspected regularly for cracks, missing fasteners, looseness, or damage before swimmers enter the pool.
