Product Overview

Help prevent leaks and maintain proper pump performance with the Hayward SPX1600T Housing Gasket. This genuine Hayward replacement gasket is designed to create a secure seal between the pump housing and seal plate on compatible Hayward Super Pump and MaxFlo pool pumps.

A worn, cracked, flattened, or swollen gasket can allow air or water leaks, reduce pump prime, and affect circulation. Replacing the housing gasket during pump service helps restore a tight seal, protect pump performance, and keep your pool system running smoothly.

Genuine Hayward Replacement Gasket

The Hayward SPX1600T is an OEM housing gasket used on select Hayward pump models. It is commonly installed between the pump wet end housing and seal plate to help provide a watertight and airtight connection.

Designed to Help Maintain Pump Prime

A proper housing gasket seal is essential for efficient pump operation. The SPX1600T helps prevent suction leaks and water leaks that can cause priming issues, reduced flow, or unnecessary pump strain.

Installation & Care Tips

Before replacing the gasket, turn off power to the pump and make sure the system is fully shut down. Open the pump assembly according to the pump manufacturer’s instructions, remove the old gasket, and clean the sealing surfaces before installing the new Hayward SPX1600T gasket.

Inspect the gasket area for cracks, debris, warping, or damage before reassembly. For best results, replace the gasket any time it appears cracked, flattened, stretched, swollen, or no longer seals properly.
