Benefits

The Jandy TSCLVSCG TruChlor feeder helps simplify routine pool chlorination by automatically dissolving chlorine tablets as water flows through the unit. This reduces the need for manual tablet placement in skimmers or floating dispensers and helps support more controlled sanitizer delivery.

The clear glass lid is especially useful for pool owners and service professionals because it makes it easy to check tablet levels at a glance. The larger tablet chamber helps reduce refill frequency, while the built-in flow indicator provides a simple visual reference for feeder operation.

For pool systems using variable-speed pumps, the inline variable-speed design helps maintain effective chlorination across a wider range of flow conditions compared with older-style feeders.

Installation Notes

This feeder should be installed by a qualified pool professional. Proper installation requires correct plumbing location, flow direction, union alignment, feeder orientation, pressure verification, and compatibility with the existing circulation system.

Install the feeder after the filter and heater, where applicable, according to manufacturer instructions and local code requirements. Do not install in a way that allows highly chlorinated water to backflow into heaters, pumps, or other sensitive equipment. A check valve may be required depending on the plumbing layout.

Always turn off the pump and relieve system pressure before opening or servicing the feeder. Use only compatible 3" chlorine tablets and never mix different chemical types inside the feeder.
