Product Overview

The Paramount 2-Port 4-Gear Module with Valve Shell O-Ring | 004-302-4400-00 is a replacement module designed for compatible Paramount 2-port water valve systems used in pool and spa circulation applications.

This module is used inside the Paramount water valve to help control zone movement and direct water flow through the system. It is commonly used for circulation in small bodies of water, basin applications, and spa applications. The module includes a valve shell / base O-ring, helping support a proper seal during installation.

This replacement module is ideal when the existing module is worn, damaged, no longer rotating correctly, or causing poor water distribution through the valve system.

Ideal For

• Paramount 2-port water valve systems
• Paramount in-floor cleaning and circulation systems
• Small pool, basin, and spa circulation applications
• Replacing worn or damaged valve modules
• Restoring proper valve rotation
• Repairing poor water distribution
• Valve systems with damaged internal gears
• Professional pool service repairs
• Equipment pad maintenance
• Paramount water valve rebuilds

Key Features

• 2-port valve module — designed for compatible Paramount 2-port water valve systems.
• 4-gear module design — helps control internal valve movement and zone operation.
• Includes valve shell O-ring — supports proper sealing between valve components.
• Used for circulation applications — commonly used for small bodies of water, basin, and spa circulation.
• Replacement module assembly — replaces the internal module without replacing the full valve body when the housing is still usable.
• Helps restore water distribution — supports proper flow routing through the valve system.
• Updated module design — newer replacement modules may look different than older original modules but are designed to fit compatible valve housings.
• Professional-grade Paramount part — built for in-floor and water valve system service.
• Useful for valve troubleshooting — ideal when the valve stops cycling or flow is not switching properly.
• Service-friendly repair option — helps reduce the need for full valve replacement.

Benefits

The Paramount 004-302-4400-00 module helps restore proper operation to compatible 2-port water valve systems. When the internal module wears out or stops functioning correctly, the valve may fail to rotate, stay stuck on one outlet, or distribute water unevenly.

Replacing the module can help bring back correct circulation and zone control without replacing the entire valve assembly. The included valve shell O-ring helps provide a proper seal during reassembly, reducing the chance of leaks when installed correctly.

For pool professionals, this module is a practical repair part for maintaining Paramount water valve performance in pool, spa, and basin circulation systems.

Specifications

Included Components

• 1 × Paramount 2-port 4-gear module
• 1 × valve shell / base O-ring

Valve body, valve lid, clamp, pressure gauge, pressure relief valve, plumbing base, unions, and additional water valve components are sold separately unless specifically included by the supplier.

Compatibility Notes

This module is designed for compatible Paramount 2-port water valve systems.

Before ordering, confirm the following:

• Existing valve is a Paramount 2-port water valve
• Existing system uses the 4-gear circulation module configuration
• Valve housing is still in good condition
• O-ring sealing surfaces are clean and undamaged
• Existing module style matches the application

Some older Paramount modules may look different from the current replacement module due to manufacturer design updates. Fitment should be confirmed by part number and valve type rather than appearance alone.

Installation Notes

Turn off the pool pump and relieve all system pressure before opening the water valve. Never loosen or remove the valve lid, clamp, or internal module while the system is pressurized.

Remove the old module and inspect the valve shell, lid, base, clamp, pressure relief valve, and sealing surfaces. Replace the valve shell O-ring with the included O-ring during installation. Make sure the new module seats correctly before reassembling the valve.

After installation, restart the system and check for proper valve operation, water distribution, and leaks around the valve shell.
