Product Overview

Control a compatible Pentair EasyTouch PL4 or PSL4 automation system from inside the home with the Pentair 522465 Wired Indoor Control Panel. This genuine Pentair accessory provides convenient access to everyday pool and spa functions without requiring a trip to the outdoor equipment pad.

The indoor panel connects directly to the EasyTouch power center through a low-voltage communication cable. Its clear LCD screen and familiar button layout allow users to operate equipment, change temperature settings, select lighting functions, review schedules, and access system menus from a protected indoor location.

The panel is designed only as a secondary user interface. It does not include relays, a transformer, a load center, or the main EasyTouch control board, and it does not add additional circuit capacity to the automation system.

Specifications

Control Capabilities

The 522465 panel gives users access to compatible EasyTouch functions such as:

• Activating auxiliary equipment
• Selecting pool or spa operating modes
• Adjusting pool and spa temperature settings
• Operating compatible heaters and heat pumps
• Controlling pool and landscape lighting
• Selecting compatible IntelliBrite colors and shows
• Reviewing schedules and egg-timer settings
• Monitoring IntelliChlor or IntelliChem settings when installed
• Accessing freeze-protection and diagnostic information

Available functions depend on the equipment connected to the EasyTouch power center and how the system was programmed.

PL4 and PSL4 Compatibility

The EasyTouch PL4 is designed primarily for a single body of water, while the PSL4 is configured for a shared pool-and-spa installation. This indoor panel works with either compatible system.

The “4” designation refers to four primary equipment circuits, generally consisting of the filter-pump circuit and three auxiliary circuits. The panel does not convert a PL4/PSL4 system into a larger EasyTouch 8 system.

Installation Information

Install the panel indoors or in another dry, protected location. A low-voltage communication cable must be routed between the indoor panel and the communication terminals inside the EasyTouch power center.

Disconnect power to the automation system before making connections. Route communication wiring separately from line-voltage conductors as required by Pentair instructions and applicable electrical codes.

Installation and initial programming should be completed by a qualified pool-automation technician or electrician.

Warranty Information

Pentair warranty coverage is subject to current replacement-part terms, proof of purchase, correct system compatibility, and proper installation. Damage caused by moisture, incorrect wiring, electrical surges, incompatible automation equipment, or unauthorized modification may not be covered.
