Benefits

The WeatherKing TWPH-6560EHT01 helps extend the swim season by using electric heat pump technology to warm pool water efficiently. Instead of burning fuel like a gas heater, the heat pump transfers heat from outdoor air into the water, making it a practical option for homeowners who want consistent heating with energy-conscious operation.

The titanium heat exchanger provides excellent corrosion resistance when water chemistry is properly maintained, making it suitable for chlorine and saltwater pool systems. Digital controls make temperature management simple, while the quiet design helps keep the pool area more comfortable.

For pool professionals, the WeatherKing 6560 offers a dependable 118K BTU-class heat-only heat pump with durable construction, service-friendly plumbing, and a proven Raypak-related platform.

Compatibility Notes

The WeatherKing TWPH-6560EHT01 is designed for compatible residential pool and spa systems requiring a 118K BTU heat-only electric heat pump.

Common application references include:

• Residential inground pools
• Pool and spa combination systems
• Pool systems using 208-230V electrical service
• Heat-only pool heating applications
• Properly maintained chlorine and saltwater pools
• Equipment pads with proper airflow clearance

Always confirm pool size, climate, desired temperature rise, electrical service, breaker sizing, plumbing flow, equipment pad clearance, airflow clearance, and local code requirements before ordering.

Installation Notes

This heat pump should be installed by a qualified pool professional and licensed electrician. Proper installation requires correct electrical service, breaker sizing, disconnect placement, bonding, grounding, plumbing flow, equipment pad placement, airflow clearance, condensate drainage, and startup verification.

The unit must be installed outdoors with proper airflow clearance. Heat pump performance depends on outdoor air temperature, humidity, pool size, wind exposure, sun exposure, plumbing design, runtime, and whether a pool cover is used.

Maintain proper water chemistry to protect the titanium heat exchanger and connected pool equipment. Improper flow, poor water balance, incorrect wiring, or restricted airflow can damage the unit and may void warranty coverage.
