Product Overview
Restore reliable heat transfer in a compatible Raypak 156A pool and spa heater with the Raypak 014875F Copper Tube Bundle. This genuine factory-authorized replacement component is designed for current-generation 156A heaters equipped with polymer water headers.
The tube bundle functions as the central heat exchanger inside the heater. Pool water travels through the copper tubes while heat from the combustion system passes across the exterior surfaces. The copper construction efficiently transfers this heat into the water before it returns to the pool or spa.
Scale buildup, freezing, corrosion, restricted circulation, improper water chemistry, or overheating can damage the original tube bundle. Common symptoms may include water leaking inside the cabinet, reduced heating performance, mineral deposits, unusual boiling sounds, or recurring high-limit shutdowns.
Replacing the damaged tube bundle can restore heater performance without replacing the complete heater. Professional diagnosis is recommended because damaged headers, worn O-rings, bypass problems, condensation, and plumbing leaks can create similar symptoms.

Compatibility
The 014875F tube bundle is designed for compatible Raypak and Rheem 156A above-ground pool and spa heaters. Common applications include qualifying P-R156A natural-gas and propane models with analog or electronic ignition.
Compatibility depends on the complete heater model, serial number, manufacturing date, header design, and existing heat-exchanger configuration. Earlier 156 heater generations may require different components.
Confirm the heater identification label and applicable Raypak parts diagram before ordering. Do not select this tube bundle based only on the heater’s BTU rating or exterior appearance.
Installation Information
Turn off electrical power and the gas supply, stop the circulation pump, allow the heater to cool, and relieve all water pressure before service. Drain the heater before removing the polymer headers or existing tube bundle.
Replacement requires substantial heater disassembly and should be completed by a qualified pool-heater technician. Inspect the inlet/outlet header, return header, O-rings, bypass valve, bypass dam, spring, combustion chamber, burner tray, and surrounding components while the heater is open.
Install new header O-rings whenever the tube bundle is replaced. After reassembly, circulate water and inspect all header connections for leakage before operating the burner. Verify proper water flow, gas pressure, ignition, combustion, ventilation, and exhaust operation before returning the heater to service.
Package Contents
- One Raypak 014875F copper tube bundle
Polymer headers, header O-rings, bypass components, flange nuts, burner parts, plumbing fittings, tools, and installation labor are not included unless specifically supplied in the current factory package.
Warranty Information
Warranty coverage is subject to Raypak’s current replacement-part terms, proof of purchase, correct heater compatibility, and professional installation. Freeze damage, scale buildup, corrosion, restricted circulation, improper water chemistry, or installation errors may not be covered.
