Installation Notes

This heater must be installed by a qualified pool professional, licensed gas technician, or licensed contractor as required by local code. Proper installation requires correct natural gas supply sizing, gas pressure verification, electrical wiring, bonding, grounding, water flow verification, plumbing layout, combustion air, and venting where required.

Before installation, confirm the site uses natural gas and that the installation elevation matches the model’s approved range. This model is commonly listed for 0–2,000 ft elevation applications.

Water chemistry must be maintained within recommended ranges to protect the cupro-nickel exchanger and preserve heater performance. Improper water balance, poor flow, incorrect gas pressure, wrong elevation configuration, restricted venting, or improper installation can damage the heater and may void warranty coverage.
