Product Overview

The Jandy Pro JXi VersaFlo Bypass Accessory Kit | JXIVFKIT is a genuine Jandy accessory kit designed for compatible Jandy Pro Series JXi pool and spa heaters. This kit adds VersaFlo integrated bypass functionality, allowing water to bypass the heat exchanger when the heater is not actively firing.

By reducing unnecessary water flow through the heater during non-heating operation, the VersaFlo bypass can help improve hydraulic efficiency and reduce system restriction. This is especially useful for pools with variable-speed pumps, where lower-speed operation may be possible when the heater is bypassed.

The kit includes the bypass assembly with wiring harness, gasket, installation hardware, wire ties, cable grommet, and wrench needed for compatible JXi heater installations.

Benefits

The Jandy JXIVFKIT VersaFlo Bypass Accessory Kit helps make compatible JXi heater systems more efficient by reducing flow restriction when the heater is not in use. In many pool systems, water continues passing through the heater even when heating is not needed. VersaFlo bypass functionality allows the system to route water around the heat exchanger during non-heating operation.

This can be especially valuable for variable-speed pump systems, where lowering hydraulic resistance may allow the pump to run at a lower speed for everyday filtration. The result can be quieter operation, improved circulation efficiency, and reduced energy use depending on the pool system setup.

For pool professionals, this kit provides a clean internal upgrade path for compatible JXi heaters without requiring a full external bypass manifold.

Compatibility Notes

This kit is designed for compatible Jandy Pro Series JXi heaters. Always confirm the exact heater model and serial number before ordering.

For some older JXi VersaFlo upgrades, especially units with Serial Number G and earlier, additional components may be required, such as:

• PIB Interface Circuit Board Kit
• Flow Sensor Kit

A qualified pool professional should verify heater revision, model number, and required accessory kits before installation.

Installation Notes

This accessory kit must be installed by a qualified pool professional familiar with Jandy JXi heater systems. Proper installation requires heater disassembly, correct bypass assembly placement, wiring harness routing, gasket installation, fastener torque, system inspection, and operational testing.

Before installation, turn off power and gas to the heater and allow the unit to cool. Confirm that the heater model is compatible and that the installation does not require additional board, sensor, or control components.

After installation, the heater should be tested for proper bypass operation, ignition sequence, flow detection, heating mode, non-heating circulation mode, and leak-free operation.
