Product Overview

The Pentair Compool Valve Actuator, part number 263045, is a 24VAC automatic valve actuator designed to operate compatible pool and spa diverter valves. Commonly identified as the CVA24 / CVA24T actuator, this unit provides 180-degree rotation and includes a 25-foot cable for connection to compatible pool automation systems.

This actuator is used to automate water flow between pool, spa, water feature, cleaner, suction, and return plumbing circuits. When connected to a compatible automation system, it allows valves to rotate automatically instead of requiring manual adjustment at the equipment pad.

Ideal For

Automating pool and spa water flow control.

Pool/spa combination systems with automated suction or return valves.

Water feature, cleaner, fountain, or spillover valve control.

Replacing a failed Compool, Pentair, Ortega, or Jandy-style valve actuator.

Systems using compatible 24VAC pool automation controls.

Service professionals repairing or upgrading automated pool plumbing controls.

Key Features

24VAC Bi-Directional Motor: The actuator uses a 24VAC bi-directional motor to rotate the valve in either direction when commanded by a compatible automation system.

180-Degree Valve Rotation: Designed for 180-degree rotation, making it suitable for many common pool and spa diverter valve applications.

25-Foot Cable Included: The included 25-foot cable provides installation flexibility when connecting the actuator back to the automation control panel.

Compatible with 2-Port and 3-Port Valves: Pentair lists this actuator for use with both 2-port and 3-port valves, making it a versatile option for automated pool plumbing systems.

Works with Multiple Valve Brands: The actuator operates compatible Compool®, Ortega®, and Jandy® valves, giving service professionals flexibility when replacing older actuators.

Service Switch for Flow Direction: A built-in service switch allows adjustment of flow direction during setup, testing, and service.

Corrosion-Proof Enclosure: The actuator housing is designed for outdoor pool equipment environments and helps protect internal components from exposure around the equipment pad.

Automation System Compatibility: Compatible with all 24VAC control systems and UL listed for use with IntelliTouch® automation.

Benefits

Automates valve movement for easier pool and spa operation.

Reduces manual trips to the equipment pad.

Helps prevent pump dead-heading when properly installed and configured.

Supports pool/spa mode changes, water features, cleaners, and other plumbing functions.

Provides an OEM Pentair replacement option for compatible valve automation systems.

Works with many common pool automation installations using 24VAC control.
