Equipment Package Questions
What comes in a complete pool equipment package?
Most pads include automation, a salt system, one to three variable-speed pumps, a cartridge filter, a heater or heat pump, LED lights with a transformer, a skimmer, main drains, an autofill and the valves and check valves to plumb it. Pool and spa projects usually add valve actuators and a spa blower.
Can I mix brands?
You can, but staying with one brand keeps the automation, pumps, heater and lights talking to each other and simplifies warranty. The builder keeps the major equipment on one brand and shares universal items like drains, slabs and check valves.
How do I know what size pump, filter and heater I need?
Use our pool calculators for volume, flow, filter and heater sizing, or send your plans and we'll check your selections before you buy. Your installer should confirm final sizing and local code requirements.
Do you only sell packages in Las Vegas?
