Product Overview

The Jandy CV Series Cartridge Filter | CV340 is a high-performance cartridge pool filter designed to deliver clear, sparkling water with efficient flow and extended cleaning cycles. With 340 square feet of filtration area and a maximum flow rate of 127 GPM, this filter is ideal for residential pool systems that need strong filtration capacity without the need for backwashing.

The CV340 uses a large-capacity cartridge design to capture dirt, debris, and fine particles while helping maintain excellent water clarity. Unlike sand or DE filters, cartridge filters do not require backwashing, which can help conserve water and simplify routine maintenance.

Built with durable, corrosion-resistant polymeric materials and Jandy’s Versa Plumb® design, the CV340 is made for efficient hydraulic performance and compatibility with professional pool equipment layouts.

Benefits

The Jandy CV340 is designed to make pool filtration more efficient, effective, and easier to maintain. Its large 340 sq. ft. cartridge area allows the filter to capture debris while helping reduce how often the cartridges need to be cleaned compared with smaller filters.

Because it is a cartridge filter, the CV340 eliminates the need for routine backwashing. This can help conserve water and avoid the extra plumbing considerations that come with backwash lines.

For pool owners looking for strong filtration performance, durable construction, and professional-grade Jandy equipment compatibility, the CV340 is a reliable choice for maintaining cleaner, clearer pool water.

Installation Notes

The Jandy CV340 should be installed by a qualified pool professional. Proper installation requires correct plumbing alignment, flow rate verification, equipment pad spacing, pressure testing, and system startup.

Before installation, confirm that the pump flow does not exceed the filter’s maximum flow rating of 127 GPM and that the system pressure remains within the filter’s rated operating range. The filter should be installed on a level, stable equipment pad with adequate clearance around the tank for cartridge removal and maintenance.

Always turn off the pump and relieve system pressure before opening the filter tank. Never service a pressurized filter.
