Standard, Omni or OmniX?

Standard TriStar VS models use the built-in pump keypad to set speeds and schedules, and can be controlled by compatible Hayward automation.
Omni models, such as the HL32950VSP, are designed for Hayward's Omni platform and OmniLogic/OmniPL automation.
OmniX models (X1 suffix) add Hayward's OmniX smart control so the pump can be managed from the Hayward Omni app.

Which TriStar is right for my pool?

Most residential pools are well served by a 1.85 or 2.7 HP TriStar VS running at low speed most of the day. Step up to 2.7 HP for pool/spa combos, spillovers, water features or long plumbing runs, and to the TriStar XL for large pools and high-flow systems. What is the difference between the TriStar VS 900 and VS 950?
Both are TriStar variable speed pumps. The VS 900 models we carry are 1.85 HP and the VS 950 models are 2.7 HP, for larger pools and more demanding plumbing.

Can I replace just the motor on my TriStar?
Often, yes. A TriStar power end (motor and drive assembly) replaces the motor side of the pump while keeping your existing housing and plumbing.

Is the TriStar a good replacement for an older single-speed Hayward pump?
