Benefits

Why Replace All Four Cartridges Together?

Replacing the entire cartridge set at the same time helps maintain:

• Balanced water flow
• Similar dirt-loading characteristics
• Consistent filter pressure
• Even filtration performance
• Easier maintenance scheduling
• Similar service life among all elements

Mixing heavily used cartridges with brand-new elements can create uneven hydraulic resistance inside the filter.

Specifications

Filbur directly lists FC-6435 at 7" OD, 32-7/8" length, 131 sq. ft., and UPC 645544064356.

Cross-Reference Part Numbers

Filbur’s current product data directly cross-references FC-6435 to Hayward CX1280RE Quad and Pleatco PA131-PAK4.

Cartridge Dimensions

Each cartridge measures approximately:

7" Outside Diameter
32-7/8" Length
131 Sq. Ft. Filtration Area

Always compare the cartridge dimensions and existing part number before ordering, particularly on older SwimClear installations.

Complete 525 Sq. Ft. Filter Set

Hayward refers to the C5025/C5030 family as approximately 525 sq. ft. filtration systems.

The four Filbur cartridges provide:

131 sq. ft. × 4 = approximately 524 sq. ft.

Minor differences in advertised square footage between replacement cartridge manufacturers are normal due to differences in how pleated media area is measured.

The important compatibility factors are the physical dimensions, cartridge count, and OEM cross-reference.

Warranty & Compatibility

The Filbur FC-6435 is designed for compatible Hayward SwimClear filters including:

• Hayward C5025
