Product Overview

The Filbur FC-6475 Replacement Cartridge 4-Pack is a complete replacement filter set designed for compatible Pentair Clean & Clear Plus 520 cartridge filters.

Each cartridge is rated by Filbur at approximately 125 sq. ft. of filtration area, providing a complete four-cartridge replacement set for the 520 sq. ft. Clean & Clear Plus filter family.

Filbur cartridges are engineered for dependable dirt-holding capacity, efficient water flow, and long service life. The FC-6475 uses 4 oz. filtration media, molded end caps, and PVC extruded center cores designed to maintain cartridge strength under normal pool-filtration pressure.

This four-pack is the Filbur quad-pack equivalent of the individual FC-1978 cartridge and cross-references common Pentair, Pleatco, and Unicel replacements used in the Clean & Clear Plus 520.

Benefits

Why Replace All Four Cartridges Together?

Replacing all four filter cartridges at the same time can help provide:

• Balanced water flow
• Consistent filter pressure
• Even debris loading
• Similar cartridge service life
• Improved overall filtration
• Easier maintenance scheduling

A mixed set of old and new cartridges can create uneven resistance inside the filter.

Specifications

Cross-Reference Part Numbers

Filbur’s FC-1978 product page directly cross-references Unicel C-7472 and Pleatco PCC130 for the Clean & Clear Plus 520.

125 Sq Ft vs. 130 Sq Ft Naming

You’ll see this cartridge marketed both ways online.

Many distributors refer to the FC-6475 as a 130 sq. ft. cartridge, largely because the Pleatco cross-reference is PCC130. However, Filbur’s own current catalog rates FC-6475 at 125 sq. ft. per cartridge.

For your Shopify listing, I would use:

Title:
Filbur 130 Sq Ft Clean & Clear Plus 520 Cartridge 4-Pack | FC-6475

Then in the specifications, use:

Manufacturer-Rated Media Area: 125 Sq Ft Per Cartridge

That keeps you aligned with how customers search while still keeping the technical data accurate.

Warranty & Compatibility

The FC-6475 is designed primarily for:

For maximum cartridge life:

• Clean carefully between individual pleats.

• Inspect the center core and end caps during every cleaning.
• Replace cartridges that are torn, cracked, collapsed, or permanently clogged.
• Use an appropriate cartridge cleaner when oils or mineral deposits are present.
