Product Overview

Safeguard large-scale circulating water systems with the Fluidrol SW116108031, a specialized 8" x 8" Flanged Hair and Lint Strainer. Designed for commercial swimming pools, aquariums, and water parks, this unit captures leaves, debris, and hair before they reach sensitive circulation pumps. Its construction combines fiberglass-reinforced plastic with PVC components, providing superior resistance to chlorine and chemicals while maintaining structural integrity under pressure.

The 8-inch inlet and outlet feature flanged connections suitable for direct integration into existing pool plumbing setups. This in-line configuration protects the pump suction side, significantly reducing mechanical failures caused by foreign objects. Maintenance protocols are straightforward; install professionals position the unit so the stainless steel basket remains easily accessible for inspection and routine cleaning without major system shutdowns.

Warranty & Compatibility

Ensure compatibility across all variables before purchasing. Confirm 8-inch diameter requirements, flanged connection types, and specific FRP/PVC housing preferences. System flow rates and available equipment-room clearance must align with manufacturer specifications. Adherence to professional installation guidelines ensures warranty coverage remains valid for the operational lifespan expected in industrial aquatic applications.
