Product Overview

The J&J Electronics PureWhite LED Pool Light 21075 is a complete underwater light fixture designed to provide bright, crisp white illumination for compatible in-ground swimming pools. This model operates on 120 volts, includes a 100-foot factory-installed cord, and produces light comparable to a traditional 500-watt incandescent pool light while consuming only approximately 58 watts.

The PureWhite F3W fixture delivers approximately 3,900 lumens of cool-white light at a color temperature of 6500K. Its bright white output helps improve nighttime visibility while giving pool water a clean, clear appearance. It is suitable for residential and commercial in-ground pools, including pools with dark interior finishes that require stronger illumination.

This fixture is designed to fit many standard full-size wet niches from Hayward, Pentair, and Jandy. Compatibility must be confirmed before ordering because niche dimensions, mounting tabs, voltage, and installation requirements can vary. This is a complete sealed LED fixture, not a replacement bulb or retrofit lamp.

Benefits

The PureWhite LED fixture offers significantly lower power consumption than a traditional 500-watt incandescent light while maintaining strong, even pool illumination. Reduced wattage may help lower operating costs and reduce the electrical load placed on the lighting circuit.

LED technology also provides a much longer expected operating life than conventional incandescent lamps, reducing the frequency of underwater light replacement and related service work. J&J and Hayward state that the fixture can use up to 90% less energy and last up to 20 times longer than comparable incandescent lighting.

The 100-foot cord supports installations where the pool light junction box or transformer location is farther from the niche. The compact fixture depth also improves access to the bottom mounting catch during installation.

Specifications

Warranty & Compatibility

Compatibility

The J&J 21075 is designed to replace many full-size underwater fixtures installed in compatible Hayward, Pentair, or Jandy wet niches. It may be used in gunite, fiberglass, or vinyl-liner pools when installed with a compatible niche and according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Installation Information

Turn off electrical power at the breaker before removing or installing any underwater pool light. Confirm that the existing system is 120V and that the niche, junction box, conduit, grounding, and bonding meet applicable electrical codes.

The factory cord must be routed continuously through the conduit to an approved junction box. Do not cut, splice, or shorten the cord underwater or inside the conduit. Leave sufficient cord coiled behind the fixture so it can be raised to the pool deck for future servicing.

Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician or qualified pool professional.

Confirm Before Ordering

Verify the following:

• Your lighting system operates on 120V.
• You need a complete fixture rather than a replacement bulb.
• A 100-foot cord is sufficient for the installation.
• Your existing wet niche accepts the F3W fixture.
• The mounting screw and lower niche catch are compatible.
• You want a single cool-white light rather than a color-changing model.

Warranty Information

Hayward lists a three-year limited parts warranty and a one-year labor warranty for this fixture when purchased and installed according to manufacturer requirements. Warranty coverage does not include incorrect voltage, improper installation, cord modification, water intrusion caused by installation errors, chemical damage, or operation outside an approved underwater niche.
