Product Overview

The Hayward Universal ColorLogic 2.0 Multi-Color LED Spa Light | LSCUS22150 is a low-voltage LED spa light designed to deliver bright, colorful illumination for compatible spa and pool/spa lighting systems. With 12–15V low-voltage operation, a 150 ft cord, and thermoplastic trim, this fixture is ideal for spa light replacement, remodel, and upgrade applications where a longer cord length is required.

The Universal ColorLogic 2.0 series provides multi-color LED lighting for a more attractive nighttime spa experience. It is commonly used when replacing compatible spa lights or upgrading from older incandescent or halogen lighting to a modern, energy-efficient LED color light.

Because spa lighting is electrical equipment installed around water, this product must be matched to the correct niche, transformer, cord length, control method, and installation requirements before ordering.

Benefits

The Hayward Universal ColorLogic 2.0 LSCUS22150 helps transform spa appearance with colorful LED lighting for nighttime relaxation, backyard entertaining, and improved spa ambiance. Multi-color lighting gives customers a more attractive and customizable lighting experience compared with standard white lighting.

The low-voltage 12–15V design is commonly used in modern pool and spa lighting systems, while LED technology provides efficient illumination compared with older incandescent-style fixtures.

With a 150 ft cord, this model is especially useful for spa installations where the junction box or equipment area is farther away from the light location.

Universal ColorLogic 2.0 Advantage

The Universal ColorLogic 2.0 line is designed for multi-color spa lighting upgrades and compatible replacement applications. It gives spa owners the ability to enjoy colorful LED lighting while maintaining a clean, professional finish.

For best results, the light should be paired with compatible Hayward controls or an approved switching/control method so color shows and light functions operate as intended.

Recommended Use

Use the Hayward LSCUS22150 Universal ColorLogic 2.0 Spa Light when replacing or installing a compatible 12–15V multi-color LED spa light that requires a 150 ft cord and thermoplastic trim.

This product is best suited for compatible Hayward lighting systems where the niche, transformer, control setup, and cord length have already been verified.

For full-size pool lights, shorter cord lengths, stainless trim requirements, different voltage systems, or incompatible niches, a different model may be needed.

Installation Notes

This spa light should be installed by a qualified pool professional or licensed electrician. Pool and spa lighting installation involves low-voltage electrical wiring, transformer sizing, junction box requirements, conduit routing, bonding/grounding verification, water sealing, and code compliance.

Professional installation is required to ensure:

Correct voltage and transformer sizing
Proper niche compatibility
Safe low-voltage wiring
Correct junction box connection
Proper cord routing through conduit
Correct trim and light mounting
Correct control or switch setup
Compliance with local electrical and pool codes
Safe operation around water

Improper installation may cause electrical hazards, water intrusion, light failure, controller damage, equipment damage, or unsafe spa conditions.

Important Safety Note

Spa lights are safety-critical electrical components. Always follow manufacturer instructions, local electrical code, and applicable pool/spa safety requirements.

Never install a spa light without confirming voltage, transformer compatibility, niche fitment, cord length, trim style, and wiring requirements. Electrical work around spas should always be handled by qualified professionals.
