Product Overview

The J&J Electronics ColorSplash® XG-W 100 LED Spa Light 23013 is a complete underwater RGBW fixture designed to provide vivid color-changing effects and bright dedicated white illumination for compatible in-ground spas. This model operates on 120 volts, uses approximately 6 watts, and includes a 150-foot factory-installed power cord.

The ColorSplash XG-W combines red, green, blue, and dedicated white LEDs within one sealed fixture. Unlike standard RGB lights that create white by mixing colors, the dedicated white LEDs provide a cleaner and brighter white-light option. The fixture also offers five selectable solid colors and seven programmed light shows, allowing users to change the spa’s appearance for relaxation, nighttime use, entertaining, or special events.

The 23013 produces approximately 265 lumens and features a polished stainless-steel trim ring for a durable, professional appearance. This is a complete wet-niche spa-light fixture and is not a replacement bulb or retrofit lamp. A compatible underwater spa niche is required and sold separately.

Benefits

The ColorSplash 23013 allows spa owners to create a customized nighttime environment using bright solid colors, animated light shows, or dedicated white illumination. Multiple compatible ColorSplash fixtures can be synchronized when properly connected to the same approved switching or automation system.

Its low-energy LED design uses significantly less electricity than a traditional 100-watt incandescent spa fixture. The sealed LED engine also eliminates routine incandescent bulb replacement, helping reduce maintenance and service requirements.

The included 150-foot cord is ideal for installations where the approved junction box is located farther from the spa. Because the cord is installed and sealed at the factory, it must remain continuous between the fixture and the approved electrical connection.

Specifications

Hayward identifies part 23013 as a 120V S2CW ColorSplash spa fixture with a 150-foot cord, 6-watt power rating, 265-lumen output, stainless-steel trim, three-year parts warranty, and one-year labor warranty.

Installation Information

Disconnect all electrical power before installing or servicing the fixture. Confirm that the existing lighting circuit operates on 120 volts and that the niche, conduit, junction box, grounding, bonding, and circuit protection comply with applicable electrical codes.

Route the complete factory-installed cord continuously through the niche conduit to an approved junction box. Do not cut, shorten, splice, or modify the cord underwater or inside the conduit. Leave enough cord stored behind the fixture so it can be raised safely to the spa deck for future service.

Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician or qualified pool professional.
