Product Overview

The J&J Electronics PureWhite LED Pool Light 21079 is a complete underwater lighting fixture designed to provide powerful, cool-white illumination for compatible in-ground swimming pools. This model operates on 120 volts, includes a 50-foot factory-installed cord, and delivers brightness comparable to a traditional 500-watt incandescent pool light while consuming only 58 watts.

The PureWhite F3W fixture produces approximately 3,900 lumens with a 6500K cool-white color temperature, creating a bright, clean appearance that improves nighttime visibility and enhances the look of both light and dark pool finishes. Its energy-efficient LED technology can reduce power consumption and maintenance requirements compared with conventional incandescent fixtures.

This is a complete sealed LED pool-light fixture designed for installation inside a compatible full-size wet niche. It is not a replacement bulb or retrofit lamp. The fixture includes a stainless-steel trim ring and a factory-attached cord that must remain continuous from the light to the approved junction box.

Benefits

The J&J PureWhite LED fixture provides strong underwater illumination while using substantially less electricity than a traditional 500-watt incandescent light. The reduced wattage lowers the electrical load on the lighting circuit and may help reduce ongoing operating costs.

Its cool-white output gives pool water a crisp, clear appearance and provides excellent visibility for nighttime swimming. The fixture is also well suited for darker pool finishes, which often require higher light output to achieve even illumination.

LED technology offers a much longer expected service life than incandescent bulbs. Hayward states that PureWhite fixtures may last up to approximately 50,000 hours, reducing the frequency of underwater lighting service and replacement.

Installation Information

Disconnect electrical power at the circuit breaker before removing or installing the fixture. Confirm that the existing lighting circuit operates on 120 volts and that the wet niche, conduit, junction box, grounding, and bonding meet current electrical-code requirements.

Route the factory-installed 50-foot cord continuously through the niche conduit to an approved junction box. Do not cut, splice, or modify the cord underwater or inside the conduit. Leave enough cord stored behind the fixture so the light can be raised to the pool deck for future servicing.

Installation must be completed by a licensed electrician or qualified pool professional.
