Product Overview

The Pentair Amerlite® 78457100 Underwater Pool Light is a complete incandescent lighting assembly designed for compatible full-size Pentair swimming pool niches. This configuration operates at 120 volts, delivers 500 watts of bright white illumination, and includes an extra-long 150-foot factory-installed cord.

Amerlite has been a long-standing choice for traditional inground pool lighting, combining a durable stainless-steel housing, stainless-steel face ring, and prismatic tempered-glass lens to distribute white light throughout the swimming pool.

The 150-foot cord makes this model particularly useful for pools where the light niche is located a considerable distance from the junction box or electrical connection point.

150-Foot Factory Cord

The 78457100 includes a 150-foot factory-installed electrical cord, making it especially useful for large equipment layouts or installations where the pool light is located farther from the junction box.

Using the appropriate factory cord length helps avoid unnecessary electrical splicing and provides flexibility when routing the light cable through conduit.

Bright 500-Watt White Illumination

The 500-watt incandescent lamp provides the classic bright white underwater illumination associated with traditional Pentair Amerlite fixtures.

This makes the 78457100 a good replacement option for customers who want to maintain an existing incandescent lighting system rather than convert the pool to LED.

Prismatic Tempered-Glass Lens

The Amerlite fixture uses a prismatic tempered-glass lens designed to spread and diffuse illumination throughout the swimming pool.

The lens design helps provide broad underwater light coverage rather than concentrating the light in a narrow beam.

Stainless-Steel Construction

The Amerlite combines a stainless-steel housing and face ring for durability in submerged pool environments.

Its corrosion-resistant construction is designed specifically for permanently installed underwater lighting applications.
