Product Overview

Keep routine pool cleanup manageable with the Pentair Bermuda Skimmer Basket, a genuine OEM replacement for compatible Bermuda skimmers. This basket collects leaves, insects, and larger floating debris as water passes through the skimmer, helping keep that material out of downstream circulation equipment. Its included handle makes removal convenient for regular emptying. Designed for Bermuda gunite and vinyl liner skimmers, it replaces a damaged or missing basket without requiring replacement of the complete skimmer assembly.

Confirm Before Ordering / Compatibility

Pentair lists this basket in its replacement-parts catalog for Bermuda gunite and vinyl liner skimmers. Confirm the skimmer family using the existing equipment identification or manufacturer parts diagram.

Do not select a replacement solely by the diameter of the deck lid. The basket must fit the internal basket seat correctly. If the skimmer model is unknown, compare the existing basket’s shape, seating rim, and measurements before ordering.

This is a skimmer basket, rather than a pump strainer basket. Those components serve different locations in the circulation system and should be matched separately.

Customer Q&A

Does this basket include a handle?

Yes. This replacement is supplied as a basket and handle assembly for convenient removal.

Will it fit every Pentair skimmer?

No. It is listed for the Bermuda family. Confirm compatibility before ordering for another skimmer model.

Does replacing the basket fix weak skimmer suction?

A replacement can address a damaged basket, but weak suction may have other causes. Check for accumulated debris and have persistent circulation problems evaluated.

When should I replace my existing basket?

Replace it when cracks, broken openings, or a damaged rim prevent it from collecting debris or seating properly.
