Product Overview

Provide dependable centralized control for demanding commercial pool and spa equipment with the Pentair LX80 Commercial Pool & Spa Control System | LX80. Designed for commercial aquatic applications, the LX80 provides dedicated control of pool and spa filtration equipment, spa jets, heaters, and other compatible high-voltage equipment from a centralized outdoor power center.

The LX80 is designed for installations that require dependable equipment scheduling along with important commercial safety functions. The system incorporates an emergency shut-off function that disables connected pumps and activates an audible alarm, helping facilities provide an accessible method of stopping circulation and jet equipment when required.

Operating on 115V or 230V, the LX80 offers flexible electrical installation for a variety of commercial pool and spa equipment configurations. Standard systems include power relays for the pool filter pump, spa filter pump, and spa jet pump, while additional optional relays can expand the system for auxiliary equipment.

Product Specifications

Commercial Pool & Spa Equipment Control

The LX80 provides centralized control of the primary equipment used in a commercial pool and spa combination.

Standard relay assignments support:

• Pool filtration pump
• Spa filtration pump
• Spa jet pump

Additional relay kits can be installed when compatible auxiliary equipment requires control, allowing the LX80 platform to accommodate more complex equipment rooms.

Emergency Shut-Off System

A major advantage of the LX80 commercial platform is its integrated emergency shut-off capability. Activating the emergency switch disables the controlled pumps and provides an audible alarm.

This feature makes the controller particularly useful for commercial spas and aquatic facilities where emergency pump shutoff capability may be required by applicable codes.

Always verify current local health, electrical, and building-code requirements before installation.

Remote Spa Jet Control

The LX80 supports an outdoor-rated remote spa-jets switch with an electronic countdown timer.

Users can activate the spa jet system for either:

• 15 minutes
• 30 minutes

The countdown function automatically limits operating time, helping facilities manage equipment runtime without requiring staff to manually turn the jet pump off after each use.

Relay Capacity

The LX80 includes three standard 20-amp power relays suitable for compatible pumps up to the manufacturer's stated relay capacity.

For applications involving larger pumps, Pentair offers the optional RLYLX3HP 25-amp, 3 HP relay.

Additional RLYLX relay kits can also be used for compatible auxiliary equipment.
