Product Overview

The Pentair 357184 EQ Series Strainer Basket provides an authentic OEM replacement solution for maintaining the performance of Pentair EQ Series commercial plastic pool pumps. Measuring 12" x 14", this specific strainer component is engineered to capture heavy debris loads—including hair, lint, and leaves—before they reach the pump impeller.

This genuine Pentair component fits directly into compatible Pentair EQ Series commercial pump strainers and EQ Series hair and lint assemblies. Engineered for demanding aquatic environments, the durable plastic construction resists chemical exposure and degradation common in commercial circulation systems. Its large-capacity design supports high-flow rates typically found in facilities where residential filters would obstruct quickly.

Benefits

Protecting the pump impeller is the primary function of this 357184 basket. By keeping essential pathways clear of obstruction, operators maintain efficient suction flow and reduce wear on expensive mechanical seals. For optimal longevity, regular cleaning is recommended between deep maintenance intervals. Please verify existing equipment matches the Pentair EQ Series model and measures the correct 12" x 14" internal diameter before purchasing.
