Product Overview

The Pentair IntelliBrite Architectural Series Spa Light | 602196 provides bright, energy-efficient white LED illumination for compatible spa and pool-light niches. Designed in a compact spa-size fixture, it uses Pentair’s Architectural Series optical system to spread light more evenly while reducing hot spots, glare, dark areas, and visible light striping.

Model 602196 operates on 120 volts, consumes only 18 watts, and includes a permanently attached 150-foot power cord. Pentair rates its white LED output as comparable to a traditional 100-watt incandescent spa light, providing strong underwater visibility with significantly lower energy consumption.

This is a fixed-white LED fixture. It does not provide color-changing operation or programmed light shows.

Specifications

Installation Information

This underwater light must be installed by a qualified pool professional and licensed electrician in accordance with Pentair instructions and all applicable electrical codes.

Before installation, confirm the existing niche is compatible with the IntelliBrite Architectural Series spa-size fixture. The installer must also verify the supply voltage, GFCI protection, bonding, grounding, conduit condition, junction-box placement, and required cord length.

The 150-foot cord is permanently attached to the fixture. Underwater pool-light cords must not be spliced, repaired, or modified. The complete cord must be routed through the conduit to an approved junction box.

Do not operate the fixture for an extended period outside the water. Pool and spa water helps cool the light during operation.
