Product overview

The Pentair 354044 replacement power end is a repair part for compatible IntelliFlo 2 VST and IntelliFlo VS pumps. It gives a pool professional a way to replace the pump’s power end when that assembly has failed, while assessing which existing pump components can remain in service.

A power-end replacement is a substantial pump repair. Symptoms such as noise, leaks, low flow, or failure to start can have different causes, including a problem with the drive or the pump’s wet end. Have a qualified technician diagnose the fault and confirm the pump’s model and serial number before ordering.

Specifications and compatibility

Please confirm the contents of the boxed assembly before adding an “includes” list to the product page. Pentair’s parts listing names the power end but does not itemize every component supplied with 354044. Do not describe it as including a drive, keypad, or specific internal parts without checking the unit you will ship.

Before ordering

Match the part number against the pump’s identification label and applicable Pentair parts diagram. IntelliFlo pumps can look similar while using different drives and replacement assemblies. If the customer has an IntelliFlo VSF, request the complete pump model and serial number so the correct power end can be verified.

Installation should include inspection of the remaining pump housing and sealing surfaces, proper electrical reconnection, and a leak and operation check. Turn off power at the breaker before service and follow Pentair’s installation instructions.

FAQs

Is 354044 a complete pump?
No. Pentair identifies it as a replacement power end.

Does it fit an IntelliFlo VSF?
Pentair’s parts sheet labels 354044 for 2 VST and VS models. Verify a VSF repair directly against the pump model and serial number before offering this part.

Does it include the variable-speed drive?
The Pentair parts listing does not specify the boxed contents in enough detail to make that claim. Confirm the supplied assembly before publishing an inclusion statement.
