Product Overview

Restore the electronic control and variable-speed operation of a compatible Pentair Sta-Rite IntelliPro® pool pump with the Pentair 356893Z IntelliPro Drive Kit with Keypad. This genuine Pentair replacement kit combines the variable-speed drive, operator keypad, and required drive installation hardware into one complete assembly for compatible IntelliPro 2 VST and IntelliPro VS pumps.

The electronic drive is responsible for controlling pump motor speed, programming operating schedules, and managing pump operation. If an existing drive has failed or the keypad and drive assembly require replacement, the 356893Z provides the primary factory components needed to restore the pump's electronic control system without replacing the complete pump.

Pentair identifies 356893Z as the current drive kit for select IntelliPro VS, IntelliPro 2 VST, and IntelliProXF VS models. Because several IntelliPro generations use visually similar drives with different electronics, confirming the pump model and part number before ordering is extremely important.

Important Compatibility Notice

356893Z is not the correct drive kit for every IntelliPro pump.

For example, the IntelliPro VSF 013004 uses a different drive configuration. IntelliPro VS+SVRS and IntelliProXF VSF pumps also use different replacement drives.

Do not order a replacement drive based on appearance alone. Confirm the pump model and existing drive configuration before purchase.

Complete Drive & Keypad Replacement

The 356893Z is more than just the electronic drive. Pentair packages the main drive, keypad, and installation hardware together, making it an excellent option when a complete electronic control replacement is required.

The included keypad provides the user interface used to operate and program the compatible IntelliPro pump, while the variable-speed drive manages motor operation and speed control.

Installation Information

Pump drive replacement involves high-voltage electrical connections and electronic components. Power must be completely disconnected at the circuit breaker before servicing the pump.

Installation should be performed by a qualified pool professional or licensed electrician familiar with Pentair variable-speed pumps. Always follow Pentair's current installation and service instructions.
