Benefits

The Pentair UltraTemp 140 Heat/Cool gives pool owners the flexibility to heat pool water during cooler weather and cool pool water during hot summer conditions. This makes it a strong choice for warmer climates where pool water can become uncomfortable during peak heat.

Unlike gas heaters, the UltraTemp heat pump transfers heat from the surrounding air, helping provide efficient temperature control for everyday pool use. The titanium heat exchanger adds corrosion resistance, while the digital controls make it simple to manage pool and spa water temperature.

Specifications

Compatibility & Ordering Notes

Confirm this is the correct UltraTemp heat/cool model before ordering.

Verify that the equipment pad has proper 230V electrical service.

Confirm breaker size, wire sizing, flow rate, plumbing layout, clearances, and local electrical code requirements before installation.

This is a heat pump, not a gas heater. Heating performance depends on outdoor air temperature and installation conditions.

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Installed or used heat pumps may not be eligible for return.
