Important Compatibility Information

Aqua Creek uses multiple battery and control-system designs.

F-004AB – Linak Battery

The F-004AB is designed for Aqua Creek lifts equipped with the Linak control system.

The Linak battery can be identified by:

Two metal contact tabs located on the bottom of the battery.

These contacts connect directly to corresponding contacts on the Linak control box and charger.

F-004ABV – Vito Battery

The F-004ABV is a different battery used with Aqua Creek's Vito control system.

The Vito battery is typically identified by a water-resistant cable extending from the battery housing.

F-004AB and F-004ABV are not interchangeable.

Verify your existing battery and control system before ordering.

Compatible Charger

The correct Aqua Creek charger for this battery is:

Aqua Creek F-044CH

24V Linak Battery Charger

The F-044CH is designed specifically for the F-004AB Linak battery.

Charger is sold separately.

Aqua Creek lists a typical battery charging time of approximately 4–6 hours, depending on how deeply the battery has been discharged.

Recommended Battery Care

Aqua Creek recommends keeping the battery on the charger whenever the lift is not being used.

For commercial facilities such as hotels, HOAs, municipalities, and recreation centers, keeping a second fully charged F-004AB battery available can help minimize pool-lift downtime.

When Should the Battery Be Replaced?

Battery replacement may be necessary if:

• The lift operates for fewer cycles than normal
• The battery discharges quickly
• The battery no longer maintains a charge
• Lift movement becomes slow despite proper charging
• The charger indicates the battery cannot reach a full charge
• The existing battery is physically damaged
• The pool lift requires frequent recharging

Before replacing the battery, confirm that the charger, control box, wiring, and actuator are operating correctly.
