Installation Information

Installation must be performed according to AquaStar instructions and all applicable federal, state, local, and facility requirements governing pool suction outlets.

Verify the existing frame, sump configuration, mounting depth, system flow rate, and installation surface before installing the cover.

Only manufacturer-approved components and mounting hardware should be used. Never operate a pool or spa with a missing, loose, cracked, damaged, or improperly secured suction outlet cover.

The suction outlet cover must be replaced within five years of installation, or sooner if damaged.

Confirm Before Ordering

Confirm the existing suction outlet frame dimensions and mounting configuration before ordering.

Part 1216101 is intended for compatible 12-inch square retrofit applications. AquaStar also allows certain retrofit installations over existing sumps or frames up to 15 inches when installed using the appropriate approved anchoring method and hardware.

Flow requirements must be verified for the specific suction outlet configuration. Do not select a suction outlet cover based solely on its physical dimensions.

AquaStar currently identifies this particular product series as discontinued, so availability may be limited to remaining distributor inventory.

Warranty Information

Warranty coverage is subject to current AquaStar terms, installation requirements, application, and proper maintenance. Retain proof of purchase and installation records.

Safety-related suction outlet components should be inspected regularly and replaced immediately if damaged or no longer securely attached.
